Overnight, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were hurt while inhabitants in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and faced interruptions to water systems, as stated by city officials.

Meanwhile, a young boy was killed in a separate aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southern area, based on information from regional authorities.

Moscow has intensified strikes on energy facilities over recent weeks, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from international partners to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the US, Europe and the G7 - in delivering protection systems and enforcing restrictions," was stated in a social media post.

He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty missiles struck energy facilities, characterizing such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were laboring to fix the damage.

A series of attacks hit energy infrastructure and civilian homes in the capital.

Several of the people wounded in the assaults on the city have been transported for medical care, per statements from municipal representatives.

Area administrators said the urban area experienced heavy assaults overnight. A seven-year-old child lost their life and three other people were hurt.

The assaults succeed periods of bombing campaigns in the area, parts of which remain under the control of invading troops.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to detect.

Government officials told journalists that Russia was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with assaults already impacting energy systems.

Officials stated technical personnel and authorities were anticipating more assaults.
